I’m Marcus, a 2023 English Language and Literature graduate from the University of Oxford. I currently work at a high-growth EdTech SaaS business, where I have transformed the company from a start-up into a market-leading, global enterprise. Alongside this entrepreneurial full-time career, I’m studying the MA Law (Conversion) at the University of Law.

Driven by my interest in fast-paced corporate practice areas, DrivingDealmaking—as the name suggests—focuses on the drivers behind PE, VC, strategic M&A, and capital markets transactions. I apply a legal lens to these developments to explore topics such as evolving deal terms, transaction structures, and the particular role of solicitors.
